How to Read This Tier List
DIGIMON UP battles are fully automatic 3v3 fights, but victory depends on Support Digimon composition rather than your Partner alone. Supports occupy up to five slots and grant team-wide passive buffs — HP boosts, Skill Damage amplification, Crit mitigation, Boss Damage increases, and more. Rarity ranges from R to EX+, with EX+ entering the permanent gacha pool after banner level 23.
This ranking reflects launch-week (July 2026) PvE progression, Battle Terminal, and Boss Rush. It is separate from SP Support rankings. Units are graded SS through B based on growth cost, acquisition difficulty, and versatility.
Support Slot Unlock Timeline
- Slot 1 — after early tutorial completion
- Slots 2–4 — unlock gradually through Stage progression
- Slot 5 — Stage 100 — full team building begins here
Before Stage 100, level your best available Supports. Mid-game onward, plan role coverage: Defense, Offense, and Boss Specialist.
SS Tier — Highest Priority Supports
Skardimon (EX+ / Defense Support) — Team HP boost plus Crit damage reduction. Essential stability once Battle Terminal Crit teams appear mid-game. Gacha-dependent but top priority after joining the permanent pool.
HiAndromon (EX+ / Offense Support) — Massive team Skill Damage amplification. Pairs excellently with Skill Crit Partners like Renamon → Sakuyamon. Directly shortens PvE clear times.
HeavyLeomon (EX+ / Boss Damage) — Shines in Boss Rush, high-difficulty Stages, and guild bosses. Overkill on trash waves but worth one dedicated boss slot.
Durandamon (EX+ / Crit Support) — Critical Damage team amplification. Combines with Holsmon SP and other Crit buffers for huge damage ceilings.
Wingdramon (EX+ / Airborne Control) — Raises Airborne Rate to restrict enemy actions. S-tier or higher practical value in PvP and specific boss fights.
S Tier — Reliable Core Members
Hydramon — Excellent Team HP scaling as a Skardimon alternative. Ideal second slot in defense-focused teams.
BrachyWenomon — Crit damage taken reduction. Counters Crit-heavy Battle Terminal metas.
Megaseadramon — Skill Activation Rate increase. Strong against Evasion teams and Skill-reliant Partners.
BlueMeramon — Direct Skill Damage boost. Great offensive filler before HiAndromon.
A Tier — Situational and Mid-Game Staples
Digitama — Stun Resist for PvP counter builds. Low general use but A+ in Stun metas.
Jazarichimon — Boss Damage boost. HeavyLeomon lite for early boss farming.
Knightmon — HP Recovery amplification for long fights and guild bosses.
Hippogriffomon — Critical Damage boost. General Crit buffer below Durandamon.
B Tier — Early Bridge and Collection
Parrotmon, Lavogaritamon, Lilamon — Niche picks for Airborne, Boss mitigation, or Evasion. Use as temporary fifth-slot fillers until EX+ Supports arrive, then Release for Shards.

Sample Team — After Stage 100
General PvE lineup with five Support slots unlocked:
- Defense core — Skardimon + Hydramon (double HP layer)
- Offense core — HiAndromon + BlueMeramon (max Skill Damage)
- Flex slot — HeavyLeomon (boss stages) / Wingdramon (PvP) / Knightmon (long fights)
Limit Break priority: Skardimon ≥ HiAndromon > HeavyLeomon > others. Release R/SR Supports for Shards and focus Limit Breaks on reserved EX+ units.
Attribute System Interaction
Supports also carry Vaccine/Data/Virus/Free attributes. Stage enemies follow classic advantage rules affecting damage. Support attributes matter less than team buffs, but double advantage with your Partner shortens clear times at equal Power Rating.
Post-Launch Tier Volatility
Launch-week tiers reflect community clear data and developer materials. Expect shifts from:
- EX+ Support skill multiplier adjustments
- New Support releases causing power creep
- Battle Terminal meta shifts (Crit nerfs, etc.)
- Boss mechanic changes affecting HeavyLeomon's relative value
We re-review tier lists within one week of major patches. Pull for role gaps (Defense / Offense / Boss) rather than a single rank — that mindset survives balance changes better.
