Beginner Guide
Complete DIGIMON UP beginner guide: account setup, Digi-Egg choice, pre-registration rewards, daily routine, and first-week priorities.
What Is DIGIMON UP? — Five-Minute Overview
DIGIMON UP is Bandai Namco's raising idle RPG released July 15, 2026. It blends 1990s virtual pet nostalgia with modern auto-battle, gacha, and daily missions. You play as a Tamer raising one Partner Digimon while assembling Supports, Buddies, Skill Cards, and Hologram Gear for 3v3 battles.
Combat is fully automatic. Wins come from pre-battle preparation — log in daily, farm materials, and incrementally improve your team. Tap-friendly controls suit idle RPG fans rather than action players.
Day-One Checklist
- Collect all pre-registration rewards from Mailbox — Gekomon, Numemon, Tai & Agumon Buddy, 450 Supporter Summon Tickets, 450 Skill Card Summon Tickets, 3,000 Digi Emeralds, 1,000 Hologram Tickets
- Choose your Partner from 15 Digi-Eggs — Guilmon, Agumon, Veemon, or Renamon for performance; see partner selection guide
- Complete tutorial battles, Feeding, and Training — spend Digi Meat and track evolution stages
- Equip your best Support in slot 1
- Clear Daily Missions and login bonuses — habit formation is critical
- Decide on rerolling — see reroll guide for WarGreymon SP; otherwise proceed normally
- Link your account — Google, Apple, or Bandai Namco ID after you are satisfied with your roll
You receive ~900 Summon Tickets worth of resources on day one. You do not need to spend everything immediately — banner leveling is a marathon. Read the gacha guide before mass summoning.
DIGIMON UP Beginner Overview
Raising Basics — Feeding, Training, Digivolution
Feed Partners with Digi Meat and boost stats via Training mini-games. Evolution requires both Partner Level and Tamer Level:
- In-Training I (Lv1) → In-Training II (Lv5) → Rookie (Lv10)
- Champion (Lv25) → Ultimate (Lv65) → Mega (Lv90)
Mega within week one is unrealistic; expect two to three weeks with consistent daily play. Full details: Digivolution guide.
Stage Progression
Main Story Stages unlock Support slots, Hologram Device features, and Battle Terminal. Stage 100 opens Support slot 5; Stage 125 opens the SP Support slot — your mid-term milestones.
First-Week Priority Order
① Complete all dailies → ② Push Stages as far as stamina allows → ③ Hologram Device gear upgrades → ④ Banner summons when tickets allow → ⑤ Battle Terminal after tutorial unlock. Currency farming: F2P guide.
UI Navigation — Menus to Learn Day One
Home (Partner view) → Stage (story) → Summon (gacha) → Device (Hologram) → Menu (everything else). Mailbox lives in Menu — collect all items on first login. Do not skip free Shop dailies.
Team Edit covers Partner + unlocked Supports + Skill Card equips. Power Rating is a reference — real combat power includes Support buffs.
Data Link
Link Google/Apple/BNE ID only after reroll satisfaction. Guest accounts can reset before linking (device-dependent).
Feeding and Training Loop
Digi Meat → Feeding → EXP. Training mini-game → bonus stats. At least one Training daily is a hidden efficiency source. When Meat runs low, farm Stages instead of Emerald exchanges (F2P).
